jmolloy Posted February 22, 2002 Share Posted February 22, 2002 Hi, Using IC version 5.0 build 3852 HOTFIX1 I find I can not open X_T files from parasolids version12.1 build 272 dated 14 Sept 2001 although parasolids version 12.1 build 228 dated 23 Aplril 2001 open OK. Chris Lohman Posted February 23, 2002 Share Posted February 23, 2002 Jim here's what I found for you from a developer In IC5.0, we use PK 12.0.242. Low version of PK is not supposed to open higher version of X_T files. If IC5.0 can open files created in PK version 12.1 build 228 dated 23 Aplril 2001, it only means the file format has not been changed between PK 12.0.242 and PK12.1.228. Nearly 50% of my work involves opening parasolids files from other agencies and definitely IronCAD is marvellous for doing these translations and subsequent modifications.
