tlehnhaeuser
Attached is a image you can use to replace the standard CHROMY.tif image that IronCAD uses for its Chrome texture. I have found that it gives me a more realistic chrome and more richer look to it. To Do: 1. DnD the Chrom texture from Metals Catalog onto part. 2. Go to Parts SmartPaint>Reflection Tab 3. Replace the Chromy Image with this one attached. Hope it helps Tom
Guest John Wright
Hey Tom, Thanks for that - I use a diff image for chrome things that are viewed in say' the home, and those for outside. The 'in home' ones have a reflection with some 'skin' which gives a really realistic appearance - if you think about it, if you look at a chrome shower head - you see your own skin tones in the reflection. This image was not intended for chrome, but as I soon found out that it works pretty good by accident. However, while I acquaint myself with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop. I think you can tahnk a digital picture of a "bright" landscape and use the fisheye tool to "distort" the image to get this image results. AS I did deeper, I will try to get more images for a catalog. Enjoy Tom
