jjudd
I upgraded one of our notebooks to Windows XP professional and then tried to reinstall IronCAD. The installation passed the operating system check, but failed with a number of 1645 (and nothing else) being displayed in the install shield wizard. The pre-req's published indicate support for 2000, NT 4.0, or higher. We have successfully installed on 2000 pro and NT workstation. Do we need an updated installation package? Chris Lohman
5.0 is not officially certified for XP thus there's no guarantee it will work at all. Many of us have been using it successfully so I don't think it's an OS specific problem. 5.1 will officially support XP and will be a new package. Did that 1645 error display a return code? Can you screenshot the error and upload it here?
