Have you ever done a combine only to see your part go bonkers as a result? You can often get around this by suppressing some intellishapes, combining, unsuppressing some, combining again, etc., until its all done, and everything's cool. In extreme cases, the easier method is to simply export to acis or parasolid, then re-import. You get a nice, clean, single-shape part. --------------------------- Hey! I'm a Polygon! mmccall Posted December 14, 2005 Share Posted December 14, 2005 Hey Eric... "part implosion"... what do you mean?...just wondering if I have ever run across that... I have had parts or sections of parts disappear down to only a few features of the part... when I do a boolean operation.. .. all I have to do is simply "regenerate".. then everything comes back.. on occasion, I may have to switch kernels.. . hope the "part implosion" isn't any worse than that.. like the "failed to save" error...
