David Thomas Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 I create my nice assembly feature that cuts a hole , in several parts at once, I then want to draw a 3d curve around some of the edges, but alas upon selecting the 3d curve tool the effects of the assembly feature dissapear ! Can you do this , I suppose there are many workarounds but is this known about , is it a bug, a plane or our red caped hero.... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest IronKevin Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 That's a basic limitation of the Assembly feature, it's unavailable during several commands. One work-around is to right-click the Assembly feature and choose "Create Part Feature". This will convert the Assembly Feature into Part Features that will be available during the 3D Curve command.
