In IC 4.2 under Windows 2000, we got the error when insert the part.

"WARNING! - There was an error loading brep data for a part, check that

the TMP

system environment variable is set to a directory with write permission and

make sure your disk is not full. DO NOT save the file ! saving the file

would

cause loss of data.

..part of regenerate.."

This seems to be some specific directory properties or the lack of the free

space of this directory. But I could not understand which directory I have to

check.

Can anyone give me some advice for this??

Sounds like you're out of space on your C drive, if that's where your %TEMP% is. To determine where your temp folder is do this:

Pull up a command prompt

-Goto start, run, type in "cmd" (w/o quotes), hit enter

Type in the command "set" (w/o quotes) and hit enter.

Find the value TEMP=c:/blahblahblah

Where that TEMP value points to doesn't have enough space on the disk.

You can either free up space or change where the TEMP Environment Variable points to. To change the TEMP variable on Wind2K/XP do the following:

Right click on "My Computer" and select properties.

Select the Advanced Tap

Hit the [Environment Variables] button.

Click on the TEMP "USER VARIABLE", change the value below to something like d:\temp or whatever, click set, then ok out and reboot. You do need to create that new folder that you pointed it to.
