AutoCAD 2000i DXF/DWG import "seems" to fail when

I just ran across this with AutoCAD 2000i DXF and DWG files. Once you have the hotfix1 installed, when you open the dxf or dwg files it defaults to opening this new "layout" entity that AutoCAD introduced. By default the geometry is not in the layout, but is in the model. So when opening the file you have to change the dropdown list from layout to model so that your geometry will import properly. Otherwise it appears to completely fail. If you try to import the layout IronCAD even throws a message up about not being able to import unsupported entities. (So it's easy to think that IronCAD just failed to import the model, when actually it's the layout)
