Chris Lohman
When running IronCAD on an non-English version of Windows, it may be necessary to adjust the Windows Regional Options (known as Regional settings in Windows NT/98). The Regional Options control how numbers are formatted, the default settings may cause various problems for IronCAD. Go to the Windows Control Panel, double-click Regional Options (Regional Settings on NT/98). In Windows 2000, click "Set default", make sure you current language is displayed and click OK. In Windows NT/98, simply click the toggle next to " Set as system default locale". You may need to reboot for the change to take effect. Guest jkim522093
Yes, we have to set the correct regional options, especially the locale to get the correct user interface, symbol and so on. But the application program should support the symbols, U/I and so on correctly in that locale. We still could not have the phi symbol in the drawing in Korean OS of Windows 2000. (If we change the locale to English, then we could get the phi symbol, but the font of the U/I became bigger and some of the contents in the sub-window are not appeared.) Hope this kind of things to be settled soon.
