Tom Bobo
What would cause a multiple parts not to show up in a sectional view of a total assembly? I have a couple parts missing in my drawing? The section line should be intersecting these parts right down the middle but they are just not appearing in the final sectional view. Alex Khenkin
Are those parts linked to other parts that get cut off by the section plane?
Tom Bobo
Are those parts linked to other parts that get cut off by the section plane? 8547[/snapback] No, I basically have a solid wire inside a tube all encased in a larger tube. I sectioned them along their length. The larger tube showed up and the smaller wire but the middle tube did not show up. I went back to the scene drawing to check make sure it was their to begin with. Also I had one other part not show up as well in the same sectional drawing. Alex Khenkin
I guess we'll have to pass this one onto our IronFriends...
Tom Bobo
I failed to mention that I get the error message, "Error occured while generating facets for part". Whe I do the sectioning. Then the assembly appears with a few parts missing.
Robert Andersson
-Change the kernel of the "missing" parts. Select a part, then CTRL K
Alex Khenkin
... and regenerating parts helps when sectioning, too.
