If you drag an "Extrude" from the starter catalog, click to the intellishape level, and choose "Edit Cross-Section", it defaults to editing the cross section of the WIDTH x LENGTH plane of the part, perpendicular to the HEIGHT plane. I would really like to be able to edit the cross section in the WIDTH x HEIGHT plane. I am wanting to model a piece of aluminum extrusion with sizebox handles about the length. I understand it would work just as well using the height value, but in a case like this where we are talking about extrusion, length is clearly the most intuitive dimension to use, and it's frustrating that I can't get it to work that way.
