DanielKleiven
Does anyone know how to create a new item for the catalog in drawing?
Cary OConnor
You just need to Left-click and drag and drop the item into a catalog to create a new catalog item. You can drag and drop: 1. Sketch Geometry 2. Groups 3. Certain annotations like Text with Leader, Surface Finish, Welding Symbols, Datum Target, Datum Feature, and the GD&T feature control frame. DanielKleiven
Thank you for you're answer. I have a small assembly (12-20 small parts), is it possible to make it a catalog item that work's well as a dwg file? I've made a jpg file of the assembly, but that of course makes the backround white while exporting it to dwg. I can attach a jpg of the drawing. Cary OConnor
If you open a DXF/DWG in the ICD (in the open dialog, select the open options and set the ICD as default). You can then group the curve and add them into a catalog to reuse them in other drawings. Is that what you are asking?
