(newbie) Copy a pattern?

I'm trying to copy a group of objects that were created by a pattern, without success.  The captioning in the attached video explains what I an trying to accomplish, and what I tried.

Hi, Nice missile.

 

You can not copy or link the pattern as I know.

 

But, try this.

 

 

1. Turn on [Enable master shape positioning (with Pattern)] in option (I don't know is it in IronCad2015).

 

2. Copy or Link master shape of the pattern.

 

3. Create new pattern.

 

Be careful to move things that are not master (PATTERN'S DIMENSION OR DEPENDENT INSTANCES)

I guess to prevent positioning not the master shape is why this option is turned off in default option.

Update:  IronCAD 2015 does not have that option.

Hi, try create pattern on a root (part) level then select the pattern, make an assembly and just copy/link.
