Export 3d dxf

Hi somebody needed a 3d dxf I guess to open in Archicad...

So I exported....but all files were very problematic...not able to render and so on.

I tested both versions 3d face/ polyline mesh looks the same

I realized that it looks like a limitation?

So I exported to Rhino by STEP and from there a: dxf-solid 2007 option, that works perfect and the other person is happy.

It looks like the solid option is missing.182182859_FromIC.thumb.jpg.c45824621b2e8f0bab5064d703c57a9f.jpg

I work with IC 2020, was there an update meanwhile?

Carlo, try exporting an ACIS SAT v7.0 instead. I have tried this with a large assembly of a Steel structure to AutoCAD a few years ago and it came in really really good, keeping "solid blocks" with own attributes etc in AutoCAD, just as expected by the receiver of the models. ArchiCAD (by Graphisoft) is both different and similar to AutoCAD (by Autodesk), so I think it is worth a try!
