HDEAR
Hi all, A loft I made has 4 annoying 'dimples' in it which are creating the incorrect profile when I shell the part. How do I avoid this problem? Loft 5 dimple.ics Edited January 22, 2022 by HDEAR
jolizon590016
Tried Acis but still have a slight crease, rendering at 40 on the attached file. Loft 5 dimple acis.ics

When I shell the part the crease will interfere with air flow patterns and create more turbulence than necessary.
Cary OConnor
You can either split up the circle 2D profile to have matching points (to match the fillet points on the lower curve) or you can use the Add Critical Match Points and add line at those locations. If you don't have a straight one-to-one match, it can twist. You can see the video below as an example. Once you add them, if you need to edit them later, right-click and select Edit match points then click on the 1 or 2 to edit the top or bottom (it's a little hard to do as the solid is generated in the edit mode). Note: I'm right-clicking to end the curve and then left click to start a new curve. AddCriticalMatchPoints.avi
