cborer
Hi Is it possible to quickly transfer the Materiel from one part to another part? Like: 800kg/m3 Playwood to 8000kg/m3 316 Stainless Steel. I tried with the eye dropper But did not work. Or: Is it possible to set the material in an assembly for all parts at once? (looks like not) So the Question: is there a material dropper?
cborer
Why is it not possible to manage the materials of an assembly?

Cary OConnor
Yes you need to Right-click with the Eye-Dropper to apply material to another part or to a catalog.

SSIMMONS
You can also copy and paste materials in the catalog and then edit the new one to look how you want and to have the properties you want. I was making you a video and found a bug in the process. I posted the video below. The process is correct and the bug shouldn't happen to you hopefully. If you notice at the end of the video the back button turns grey every time i try to edit the catalog item. I have to then hit save and it reverts back to the pre-edited version. This is not happening on another persons computer here so it should work fine for you. Edit: if you notice in the video, all of my materials are custom and in a custom catalog. This is fairly common practice with IC. -Spencer 2021-11-03 10-16-35.mp4 Edited November 3, 2021 by SSIMMONS
