cborer
ER this would help me often: In the shape sizebox, right click handle: Select "Attach edge" (or curve) select the curve at any place on it, ......so the shape attaches the nearest position to attach a curve see sample In these days it attaches where the curve is selected. Thanks Carlo Edited September 10, 2021 by cborer
Cary OConnor
Are you asking for an association to the edge or just snap the point to the edge?
cborer
Dear Cary Thanks just snap on it Means: extend shape until to attach the curve
Cary OConnor
Check out this video to see if that will help in this case by using the profile handles. 2021-09-10-15-50-02.mp4
HDEAR
Thanks Cary, Good solution to a problem I had been struggling with for so long - didn't think there was a way around it Harley
cborer
Dear Cary Thanks for the nice sample. And yes it is simmilar. But I would like to attach a curve on its nearest possition. Shortest disance to attach curve. PS in your sample: I guess to remember that the arrow changed its location to the wanted point (in earlier version)? The point is nearly not to see and so it would be better the arrow is on the point selected. (I just thought it is not working anymore)Attach curve2.ics
