DraftingNMS
I've seen some CAD softwares allow for user-made plug-in/add-ons to be used. Is this it possible to be done with IronCAD, and how much trouble would it be to do? A google search is not yielding me any desirable results, so I'm not expecting much. Cary OConnor
Yes it is possibly but you need to know a programming language like C++ or .Net (or C#). Under the Program Files, you will see an ICAPI folder and there is documentation in the sub folders. The IC Mechanical is an example of an Add-in. We also provided samples there as well like Smart Assembly as reference.
DMICHIE
We had a local company design and write an API for our visual quoting system, it reads a json file and turn parameters on and off to suppress and unsuppress parts as required, then it works through the tree and delete anything that is suppressed.
