  1. Thank you for the shortcut and key sheets.
  2. I am looking for the keyboard shortcuts for the CAXA drafting side of IronCAD, but I am not having much luck finding a simple list of shortcuts for things like placing lines, circles and dimensions. There was a CAXADraftManual.pdf I found, but that's 300+ pages worth of document, and the shortcuts in it are not currently helpful.
  3. I am not. EDIT: I have figured out a workaround to my problem by duplicating the catalogs and deleting the originals. Regardless, I would have liked to know what was causing the problem in the first place and have a way that will not involve having to delete my original catalogs.
  4. When I close all the catalogs and try to open specific catalogs, IronCAD claims the catalog is already open. I do not know if this is a glitch, or if the window is undocked and being opened outside the borders of my screen. If it is outside the screen, is there some way to reset its position? Or if it's a glitch, what files do I need to delete to reset it?
  5. There is no 2020 version of the drawing to fall back on. For the time being, I do not want to take the time of recreating a 2020 version of the IC 2022 drawing with issues, as I am preoccupied with multiple projects. It will take some time to provide a file that is not a confidential work file, when I have a break from these projects. In the meantime, I do have another drawing recreating the issue which was made entirely from a template provided by IC 2022, without having been used or provided by IC 2020. This drawing has both correct leaders and flawed ones, even though I made them in roughly the same way. I say "roughly" because now the dimension cannot be completely moved unless the green checkmark is clicked, and if I try to move it before that, I have to change the arrow or knee direction before it can be completely movable. I had tried to provide a drawing with the same issue in my last post, but a naming error resulted in a mix-up of files text issue 2022.icd text issue 2022.ics
  6. I do not. The files were originally made in the 2020 version, and were edited in the 2022 version. I did try to replicate it by using the original template that was made in IC 2020, saving it, and then opening it in IC 2022 and saving it there again. That time, I got no issues. I checked to see if anything had changed in the text style settings going from 2020 to 2022, but nothing changed. However, when I tried a default IronCAD template and used the default text style, I got the issue again. They were not consistent, but they were still present. EDIT: Deleted work-related file text issue 2020.ics
  7. I never had this issue in IronCAD 2020. I have now switched to 2022 (version 2022.00.01.0). After I save the drawing and reopen it, the text resets to a position as if it were not moved down, as shown in the picture. This happens to all text dimensions, and I cannot find a way to correct this, other than taking the time to delete the dimension and making a new one. However, that is just a fix that lasts as long as the file is open. It resets when the file is reopened. Is this related to a new feature I am unaware of, or is this a bug?
  8. Thank you. I will see if there is anything else I need to figure out about this.
  9. Is there a function within IronCAD that can generate part numbers for an object or assembly? I am not expecting there to be one, but I want to make sure I am correct when my supervisor asks me about it while we search for solutions.
  10. These are not the exact files I am working with, but they do have the same issue. hiddenlinetest.icshiddenlinetest.icd
  11. I have a number of 3D curves placed beneath a model, and I am using those for references in the 3D view. I want to use them in the the 2D drawing space as reference lines to measure from, but I cannot select them. Is there an option to select hidden lines, or am I stuck?
  12. I have the issue solved, though I don't know the "why", just the "how". I moved the subassembly out of the assembly it was in, and then moved it back in. Now the round bar is selectable. The job can be done now, but it does not make any sense to me. That being said, I am using the IronCAD Drawing space, and the version is 2020, which has been updated to the most recent version. When I deleted the view and recreated the it, the issue had persisted. Not sure if this info matters, but if it needs to be collected, there it is.
  13. Of six parts in a subassembly to an assembly, I cannot select two of them, and they are round bar. What options do I need to change to be able to select and dimension these parts?
  14. Pretty much the same workflow story for me. It's something that is common sense as far as part design is concerned, and I wish I had figured it out back in college.
