Frank Hofs
Hello, My colleague is working on an IronCAD file via a remote desktop. If he tries to save the file he gets an error message saying that the file cannot be saved. But if he tries to save the file to a local disk he gets the same error. What is the problem that occurs and what is the solution? I have included a picture of the error. Regards, Frank
SSIMMONS
Frank, We have encountered this problem many times. I think I may be able to help you. 1) Are you using external links? 2) Is the file path very long? - Spencer
IronKevin
For such a problem, check %temp%\ic_dbg folder and see if there is any log files with name *commit* If so, please send us the files.
Cary OConnor
Also, is he trying to save to the local computer that is not in that network (Meaning he is on remote and trying to save to a drive outside of that remote machine)? The remote machine will need to have access to the file and links within the file or it can fail to save to those paths. Cary
