Rick Dorrington
It won't work in metric, you have to multiply everything by 25.4. Seriously though. We have a DesignJet 4555CA and this is what we do. You must have your drawing sheets set up to the size that you want to plot. We have set up configurations in the print dialogue according to the type of paper that we want to use. File_Print_(Select Plotter)_ -Vector -Use default settings Select Properties Paper Size Tab -Landscape -Application Page Size (This should be the size of your sheet-not the border size) -Paper Source (Roll or Sheet) -No Scaling Options Tab -Colour as Grayscale -Colour Control-Set Convert Colours to Black(No Grayscale) -Halftoning set to scatter -Set paper type -Set # Copies Now, Give your configuration a name We use descriptive names like this: -CRollBond- -DSheetVellum- -BRollTracing- -Etc Save your configuration Advanced Tab -Process Document- In Printer -Save Paper- None checked -Sharpen Lines- On (Cad or Line Drawings) If you set up a configuration for every template size that you have then you can quickly just pick the one that you want. (Don't forget to uncheck "Zero Line Widths" before you plot like I always do.) Hope this helps.
