handersson Posted January 14, 2003 Share Posted January 14, 2003 This is very useful method when trying out the stroke length of a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder, or place the attachments. You can quick simulate the cyl. with a smart dimension to see the attachment move OR you can rotate the att. with Triball to see what length of cyl. is needed. Smart dim. can drive OR be slave! You can even move around the place of attachments (intellishapes on plate). You only need 2 constraints, It is Colinear and Align. 1: Coliear the Attachment to axle. 2: Align Attachment to end of axle (smart dim to 0 - not ok) 3: Applie smart dim. (The smart dim. must bee applied at same "plane" to be correct.)
