bbuche
Happy Monday. I have a problem that I can not get my head around. I have a block that also has an H-block 1.5" smaller inside of it. I want the h-block to resize when I stretch the block that it is attached to. Is this possible? thank you community B-
phøgli
Do you need it to be a H Block? If not you can just edit the sketch in the block intellishape, add an offset sketch that you constrain with the proper distance. If you need it to be H block you can edit the sketch in the h block, use the project constrain feature and project the geometry from the block intellishape, offset the constrained sketch with proper distance and put "use as construction" on the projected lines. tlehnhaeuser
If its a uniform distance all around, then I would typically shell the intellishape.
phøgli
Yes, you can also use the individual face thickness in the shell feature to have different thickness on all four sides.
