bmckelvie Posted April 21, 2016 Share Posted April 21, 2016 I am trying to copy or link a pattern along a curve, but when I do the fist instance starts at half the distance of the specified copy distance, which then offsets all of the patterned instances. Any ideas on other methods to achieve this, It's holding up production on a part I need to make so any help would be greatly appreciated. Idea is to make separate 3D curve to drive your linked/copied instances... Your "middle" problem is that your curve is cutout by cylinder... There is no need to place "master" shape to start position for "link/copy along currve" with triball. Pattern feature with Edge Pattern+Offset start (IC2016) will do job also. I actually do have the newest Ironcad, i just did not know about the pattern feature along edge feature.
