bbuche
Is there a way to add text in 3d that does not show up in your drawing or does not print? I have a tabletop that has the option of 2 holes but I represent 6 hole locations that those holes can be. I want to add text that just says pick up to 2 holes but not show up anywhere else. Kind of like the defpoints layer in autocad. thanks Brian
IronKevin
You can use the Text Annotation command from the Annotation ribbon bar.
bbuche
Thanks Kevin. Is there a way to make this work on a catalog part? Once I save it in a catalog the annotation goes away.
IronKevin
No, sorry, the annotation doesn't copy in to the Catalog.
