  1. I need some help with a modeling issue. I'm trying to make a helix plate for a cyclone. I need it made out of sheet metal to make a flat pattern of it, but there isn't an option to sweep with sheet metal unless it's like a duct and not a plate. I attached some images showing what the helix plate and the flat pattern (highlighted) should look like. Any help is appreciated.
  2. How to create a helix that follows a spline in a sweep? Is this even possible?
  3. Hi, Just wondering if anyone got any ideas how to create this shape in a smarter way. My first try was to use 3D curve helix and sweep the shape, but I got various results and are having trouble to control and allign the sketch correctly against the guidecurve. My second try was a uglier solution with creating a Thread Feature and removing the cylinder with a negative cylinder like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zwxnejs3u7iw38k/Thread.mp4?dl=0 Any ideas?
