Thanks Cary, for whatever reason CAXA provided no UI options to click on, as I was about to try Bertrand suggestion..... I clicked on the Draft at the start up screen.... and everything come back to life........ happy now, but very annoyed at the time lost trying to sort this out.... ahh the joys... but thank you.

Hello, I need help with getting the main CAXA menu back?? For some crazy reason the CAXA Draft main menu has just disappeared (see image below), I know with the scene browser this can happen and with Ctrl+Shift+R brings that one back.... does anyone know what is the trick to bring back the CAXA menu ? Thank you in advance. James

Hi, there should be an option to have these dimension showing as a running calculation . ie First Dimension is 81.3, Second is 81.3 +309.3 = 390.6, Third is 390.6 + 390.3 =780.9 and so on. Typically seen on Fabrication (Workshop) Drawings.

I need help to understand why I cannot get the "CAXA Continuous Dimension" feature to show running dimensions..(I feel I'm missing something very simple!). Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Yes, I can appreciate that approach, but that's a very clumsy solution and counterproductive for what the "Structural Part" feature is supposed to.

Thank you, yes, they are .... hence the question. Given I'm very new with using the Structure Part feature, I'm at a lost with how to link (achieve this?), since the Structure frame inserts a new body each time..... I'm interested how would you suggest I finish this structure, whilst keeping everything joined in the Structure Part Frame? Without then having to have to go back to update each property field for every identical brace. Cheers

Question re: updating the (Structured Part) Property info, in the scenario like this truss, where there are 19 Braces that will all have the same property detail, How can I update one and copy all the property details into the others?

Yes, thanks Kim, I'm also expecting the context menu to pop up... but it doesn't. I noticed on one of the keyboard shortcuts cheat sheets for Ironcad, the "S" key should popup a Contextual menu, in mycase it also doesn't.... Do you know if there is a setting, I need to select to make this happen?

Hello, I need help to solve why my Right Mouse Button is not activating certain features in IronCAD.... here is an example: The team at MagnaCAD recently put up a video showing tips on how to create parameter settings, starting at the intellishape feature level.... which requires Right clicking on the Intellishape handle to bring up the menu to create a parameter.... frustratingly, my Right button does not bring up this menu.... Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated. BTW, the right mouse button does work when you pull on the handle.... so I'm confused?

Hello I need some help to understand why I'm not able to create an angle chain dimension? The task requires a running measurement of a stair tread pattern...... as can be seen here in this screen shot the Ironcad drawing "chain dimension" is taking the horizontal measurement.... I need the measurement to be in parallel to the angle of the stringer.... ultimately... I need a running measurement..... How can I achieve this ? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
