Hello, I'm trying to use PRODrill, putting HWDrill as cylinders set to 'Remove Material', placed above imported BREP models. Please see video recording. HWDrills for lifting eyes drill both parts. Yes, I saw that on my computer the hole is being suppressed when I drop `Face to DXF`. Very strange! Do you mind exporting and sending me your configuration file? I am using 'default' - meaning I deleted my configuration and let Ironcad recreate it - per instructions at What Build Number is your Ironcad? I uninstalled, and reinstalled, but I'm not sure the latest Update 1, Service Pack 1 Hotfix is actually installing.

I was hoping to use either ProDrill and/or assembly feature to make holes through parts. But I also commonly use 'Face to DXF' for easy part-to-dxf for laser cutting. However, it doesn't seem to take into account either prodrill or assembly features. Is that intentional? Here is the file I used. For now I will continue to use Triball instead, rather than generate patterns by consuming 2d drafts. So no pressing need, but I was under the impression that 'green' means 'snapped', in 2d drafting, but it doesn't seem that way. example_2d_point_snap_accuracy.ics

Sorry if I was confusing. A video is probably best to explain. I can post one tomorrow. I’ll try to explain via text today :). When I was testing the “snap” accuracy of a center point Ina circle (2d draft) could be off, depending on how zoomed in I was. With the snap active (green) I was measuring +-.003 y/x moving my cursor around but still green. However, Zoomed-out it kept the same x/y. So that didn’t give me confidence that I could use it reliably. Like I said, I’ll post a video to demonstrate.

Is Bug incident # 103312 still a thing? I was looking at how to consume a sketch to pattern with (rather than just using tri-ball and linking holes). How do others select the center-point of 3d hole when sketching? It seems that the center-point isn't a fix-point, and lets you move around a bit, depending on how zoomed-in the part is.

If I select 'Wait to regenerate until deselected', then: 1) new parts break realistic, have to hit recreate display 2) BUT realistic features re-apply correctly after editing an existing part. I'm testing in Beta 2.

Thanks! I was looking for an 'Outside Cutted Cylinder' the other day. Really useful when you have a rectangular rib going to the edge of a circle that you want trimmed by the circle.

Is this a bug or intended behavior? To see effect: Enable Ambient-Occ and/or Silhouette Edge. Add part, both will disable Click Recreate Display, they come back. PS. I have "Regenerate Automatically" under Part Regeneration NewICScreenRecord.avi

I should have watched this YouTube first: it helped me understand shrink-wrapping a bit better.

What settings should I be using to shrink-wrap the attached part? I don't need any of the internal workings, just the faces (and could lose the motor fins) Or if I just need a placeholder, should I just be recreating with simple shapes? Motor.ics

Were the ansi sizes for flat bar a 2021 mechanical addition? if so, time to upgrade! My ansi flat bar (2020) are grayed out, that category is only available in metric.

Is there anyway to enable this greyed-out 'plate foil' (ie, flat bar) in IPROSteels for an ANSI size? I'd like to add things like 2" x .025" HRS. For now I just created my own catalog component, but of course it doesn't have drop and click to rotate around to the position I'd like.

Thanks. After I posted I started just hitting buttons on my keyboard, it ended up ghosting a part (g) and when I clicked undo, the menu started popping up again. Weird! But this has been an intermittent problem, so maybe deleting the Roaming folder as well will fix it permanently.

Somehow I lost the right-click menu for IntelliShapes. New scene. Pull Extrude onto screen. Right-click on part, nothing happens. I can use keyboard shortcuts, (ie, Ctrl-Space, hide selected) and it goes away... but sorta missing my pop-up. Any trick to get those back? I deleted my C:\Users\Sam\AppData\Local\IronCAD\IRONCAD\22.0 folder and restarted my computer.

How does one choose which kernel to use as default? I hadn't given it any mind, looking back seems like I have been using parasolid. Any pro/cons?

Hello, I'm having an issue all of a sudden. If I right-drop a feature, like 'cut cylinder' and say 'all assemblies.parts under the selected level", Ironcad says: "An error occurred in the add-on tool. If this problems persists, restart the application." After clicking 'ok' several times, it'll cut the cylinder. But each time I resize it goes thru same process again. I can place with an empty scope, but as soon as I add the two parts to the scope, it errors again. I have tried restarting. Do I need to reinstall Ironcad to try to fix?
