Good Morning,
if you are using the Face to DXF ICMech tool, install this latest delivered version:
www.ironcad.it/download/ICMechanical/ICMechanical_25.11.08_X64.exe
Furthermore, dropping the tool with Right button mouse, you will have the settings about this tool:
(These are the same settings in IPROSettings.exe)
Please control if the red boxed option is set. When this option is uncheked,
the threated holes are not exported to DXF.
I hope this can help you

Hi Sam,
that's very strange.
Please download this file:
www.ironcad.it/download/Kevin/IPROExportFaceSection.zip
Extract the DLLs, and replace them in ..\Bin folder of ICMech.
Let me know.

Hi Sam,
the ExportFace cannot export AssemblyFeatures. These features are not the "real cuts" in the part.
Anyway I have noted a strange behavior. In fact, your IPRDrill feature become suppressed when you drop the tool.
If the feature is suppressed, it cannot be exported.
Looking at the video, you can see that when I drop the ExportFace tool, the holes stay visible.
So I'm wondering way this is happening on your system....
I'm using here the same version of the software that you are using.
Let me know if you have more details.
I hope this make sense to you

Hi tgjang
I have improved the IPROQuickTrim. This enhancement will be available in the next update:
-
-
Hi tgjang,
the name proposed for the export is the same name reported on the Tab related to the BOM.
This name is composed by the name of the element selected for the BOM (in this case the full scene name "For_Copying.ics") and the name of the BOMConfiguration choosen for the BOM (in this case Default). That is the rule used to create the name proposed for the save.
I hope this make sense to you

Hi tgjang,
the observation of Cary is correct.
Anyway, we have added a toggle that allow you to change the attachment mode in a fast way.
Here is the video about this new function.
This new behavior will be available in the next setup

Hi Bertrand,
here is the correct file.
These files are ASCII files, so you can edit them using Notepad or Notepad++.
This file has to be copied in the folder ..\Norme\Holes\

Hi Harley,
nice to hear you.
Here are some informations:
1) In your Public folder there is a folder that you can delete. The name is "IronCAD Mechanica". This is a wrong name and it's not used by the application.
2) About the Export Unfolded Part tool, here are the templates used by the application:
ExportFaceDimStyle.ini This file contains some DXF variables that you can set. As example, it's possible to change the DecimalPlace, the TextHeight, the TextAlignement and other variables related to DXF. This file is used whe you export directly the parts to the DXF.
UnfoldDimStyle.ini This file is similar to the previous and it's used when you export the parts using an icd file
UnfoldTemplateEmpty.icd Is the template used to export unfolded parts using the icd file
DXFTemplate.dxf Is used by the IPROExportCoordinates tool. This is a standard DXF file that can be modified for the customer purposed. We use it when the coordinates get from the model are to be exported in DXF.
I hope this make sense to you
Have a nice day

Hi Lee Meng Che,
I have tried here using the latest development version, and all seams to work fine.
So with the next setup every strange behavior about these functionalities will be fixed.
Anyway, here are some clarification about "Get from Parent" and "Set to Children" options:
1) "Get to Parent"
If you select this option the value of the current CustomData is get from the assembly parent, and set in the CustomData value.
2) "Set to Children"
This option make sense when you are setting a CustomData in an Assembly. When you select this option, the current selected value will be set in all the children elements having a CustomData with the current selected title.
These options only copy the CustomData values. The copied values don't stay "linked" to the original selected value.
I hope this make sense to you

Hi ATurner,
here are the answer about your questions:
1) The Settings save only informations about the fasteners. Informations about holes are not saved inside the Settings file.
2) The information about holes are stored in the generical LastUsedValues and are get every time you start the tool.
In the FastenerAssembly there is a bug and these values are not get correctly (it's get only the first hole).
We are working to fix this.
In the Fastener tool, this is working fine.
3) At the moment it's not possible to manage a "Customer" folders for fasteners. This is only possible for Steels.
We try to implement this in future versions.
I hope this make sense to you.
Have a nice day
