  1. Can someone explain how I go about getting this function to show up in a toolbar. I'm Lost!.....i know, I know... as usual. Thanks
  2. I agrre with Chris, If I had to go to another company and be forced to use any otehr cad product other than IronCAD. I would seriously consider finding a new profession. Knowing that IronCAD exists and not being able to use it would be a sentence that i couldn't live with. For years I 've heard many engineering professionals..."When is someone going to develop software thats easier"...Well someone did..thats IronCAD. So people need to listen to there intial pains again. Just my 3 cents
  3. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is where this post belongs. VDS’ SolidTOOLS CD’s found in our archives - In addition to revitalizing the IronCAD Jump-Start CD’s from our vaults we have found Visionary Design Systems SolidTOOLs CD’s. These CD’s were sold intially as add-on Catalogs (.tsc format) and Images (.tif format) and promoted as “The Solid Way to Leverage Design”. Many users find these SolidTOOLs CD very useful especially images on this CD for Gels etc. If you are interested in purchasing a SolidTOOLs CD, were letting them go for *$35.00 each. Just contact me at Tom@magnacad.com or call me at 631.422.5930. * price does not include tax and ship/handling.
  4. This is where this post belongs. We have long sort after IronCAD Jump-Start training CD’s available. We have dug into our archives and found these precious training CD’s. The intial cost of these CD’s were around $250 per CD. We found them excellent for the beginner or new-comer to IronCAD. These were developed for an older version but are still very useful. This CD consists of 7 simple lessons with movie files to walk you thru the process. Simply click on the AVI file icon to view and the next button to do. If you wish to purchase let me know, I am selling them for *$65.00US each. I reccommend for anyone not sure of the IronCAD syntax and basics. Attached is a sample movie file to view (triball_tut0003.avi). Just contact me at Tom@magnacad.com or call me at 631.422.5930 if you wish to purchase. * price does not include tax and ship/handling
  5. WE are looking for a 3D Leaf Blower file to allow us to design an appartus to attach. Does anyone have anything available? We have tried all the Freebie websites but to no avail. Thanks
  6. Hi Chris, YES, we have animated usinf the standard yellow/red stipe texture to act as a section hatch pattern on a animated cutting feature. Unfortunately the avi is 138mb and too big to upload. It works great!!!. Did this for a SWX user and knocked his socks off.
  7. We have available IronCAD Jump-Start CD's and SolidTOOLS CD's. See our posts under SERVICES for more info.

  10. I know that SWX 2003 is currently running on the Parasolid 14.0 kernel. IronCAD is at 13.2. This shouldn't be a problem, but you never know
  11. Thanks WIM, Thats just what the doctor ordered. Who knew life could be so simple.
  12. I know i saw a way to associate text with a view somewhere on this site, but I can't find it anymore. Does anyone know how to do this?
  13. I have tried but to no avail. Remember, I'm trying to get this set for a tolerance that has both a + and - of the same value. Thanks anyway
  14. I have tried this, but when its a single +/- value, it doesn't work. Is there a workaround?
  15. Does anyone know how to get a +/- .005" tolernace to be 75% of the font size?
  16. In Addition to robert, i would like to make some options that currently need two or three clicks to be predefined such as: - Edit Cross Section - Intellishape Properties
  17. Also, once you have converted text to a solid. You can extrude and project edges off the text. Then it actually beomes a geometric intellishape that is very editable.
  18. Thanks for the input. As for ProDesktop, the export shows ATB files. Not being a ProE guy, is that a format that PRoE users can except because I heard in the rumor mill that ProE and Pro/Desktop can't share data.
  19. We are trying to covert some step and parasolid files to the Granite One (.g) format. The parasolid files looked as though the exported but couldn;t read back in. One one of the 3 step files worked properly. Does anyone know anything thing that could help the process or what the differences are between the Granite (.g) and the Neutral( .neu) file are?
  20. We are close to completing a fuel cell prototype that was specially designed for hula-hoops. Let us know if your interested.
  21. Hey Shaun, Its true what you say. I just recieved the new Desktop Engineering and I read an article on MCAD/PDM connectionby Joe Greco. It was a pleasure to see the IronCAD in print alongside all the other apps. Good Work.
  22. I have the same trouble, I have noticed that only bmps work in this instance. I don't know if this was always or just recently the case. May i suggest converting your image to a bmp and then creat in drawing.
  23. I have noticed in many of these articles that some comparisions are made to IronCAD which is good, BUT i would have to say that 50% of the remarks referiing to IronCAD are untrue. I don't have any examples in my head right now. This fustrates me.
