(See in IronCAD /Tools /Option /Directories) C:\Program\IronCAD\IRONCAD7\Template\Scene\ In IronCAD then select File\ New and you should be able to see the templates there. -One of the templates has a PREanimated small tower in it. Open that template and insert a scene that you want to animate. That is File\ Insert (link). Move the inserted assy in to the sub assy in the scenebrowser and it will follow the animation. 14. When importing DWG/ DXF to crossection in a scene, IronCAD shows a preview of the contents. If you have a lot of layers, it can take a a while to hide them. The trick: Drag with mouse down on the layers TEXT. The layers will now get selected. If you in this selected state, UNcheck one of the layers, IC will hide the selection set.
  15. Two windows to the SAME scene: -Open a scene. -Menu Window/ New window. This open up a new window looking at the same scene. Make them side by side. Nice. However, the windows are rotating the same time! Solution: -In scene browser, select a different CAMERA for one of the scenes. To do that, RM a camera in the scenebrowser "Look trough Camera" Compered to simply splitting an existing scene, is that here you have full OpebGL support.

  17. -Change the kernel of the "missing" parts. Select a part, then CTRL K
  18. In IronCAD you cant change a sheetmetal part in flat state. IronCAD will not remember it, when folded back. However, this metod works pretty good: -Drop the blue "Custom Profile" Intellishape near a bend. This feature have a crossection. -Unfold the part. -In the Unfolded part, edit the crossection of that Custom Profile. -Now, use the standardset of 2D drawing tools to create exactly what geometry you want to have when the part is unfolded. -When you are ready with the 2D tools, COPY the 2D outline. To do that, doubleclick or boxSelect. -Select "Finish Shape" -Go back to the folded state and edit the same Custom shape. -CTRL-A and then Delete. -Paste. You now have the outline from the Custom Profile of the unfolded part, in the folded part. -Finish shape and you should be fine, including when unfolding. Tips: -If it turns out that you didnt copy the sketch, simply UN-surpress the unfolded part, and get the outline again from the crossection. -Dont forget that you can REorder items in the catalogs with SHIFT-drop. -You can drag you own Customprofiles from the scene to a custom catalog. sheetFlat.ics
