  1. They still seem to lack decent anti-aliasing.
  2. Have you got good quality results with the SWF? Some samples I saw blur the menu test to the point that it's unreadable. I be interested in any samples you have.
  3. jirvin, Please send the .ics file to support@ironcad.com so we can investigate further.
  4. Are there any externally linked files that aren't available to the viewer?

  7. You can't change the Surface Smoothness of Facet parts. However, for solids there is the "ModelHelper" API sample that will change the Surface Smoothness of all selected solids. Go to C:\Program Files\IronCAD\10.0\ICAPI\Docs\ICAPIHELP.chm for more info. or In V10, select al the parts, go to the Property Browser and edit the Surface Smoothness value and all selected parts will update.

  10. Actually, tooltbl.txt only customizes the IronCAD Sheet Metal objects. The Steel forms are only customizable via Visual Basic. If you have access to VB programming skills email support@ironcad.com and I will try to get the source code for you.
  11. No, just like .ics is not the same as ACIS or Parasolid. .sldprt is basically a bucket filled with Parasolid and many other types of data.
  12. A great idea of course, would help our sales too. However, we have the cooperation of PRO/E and CATIA with our abilities to import their native files. Without SolidWorks agreement the issue is problematic at best. I think 10.0 might be importing another major CAD native file, should be fun.
  13. The .sldprt could possibly be translated to a Parasolid .x_t file using a 3rd party software. The the .x_t file could be directly imported by IronCAD.
  14. Are these problems only when using dual monitors?
  15. Eric, Next time it happens try: http://www.google.com/search?q=Pixel+Vacuum
  16. Look at the anchor, the positive side of the L axis is in the direction that the small segment of the anchor is pointing.
  17. The end of the shape that is the furtherest along the L axis.
  18. Is this what you are trying for: (done with ACIS kernel) Sweep.zip
  19. The datasheet is a bit misleading, in automatic it is referring to the process of selecting faces for conversion as opposed to recreating the geometry manually. There is no other method.
  20. To Edit Fastener values for the Fastener Tool in the Tools Catalog: 1. Unzip C:\Program Files\IronCAD\9.0\ApplicationData\FastenerData.zip, that should create a FastenerData folder. 2. Move \FastenerData to C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\IronCAD\Common\8.0 3. Edit C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\IronCAD\Common\8.0\FastenerData\Fastener.txt to add default lengths. 4. To add or edit fastener sizes, edit the various text files under the ANSI_English or ANSI_Metric folders.
  21. For example, putting a Taper on the "End Section": An Orientation angle of 0 tapers along the Length axis, the taper starts at the positive most end of the L axis on the shape. 90 tapers along the Width axis 180 tapers along the Length axis in the opposite direction from 0. 270 tapers along the Width axis opposite the direction from 90.
  22. Here's instructions for the registry method if you don't want to install a program to do this: http://www.puppypc.com/windows/rt/comdlg_p...ar.htm#dircodes
