  1. To make a sharp point Maybe Tom found a case where Extend/Trim didn't meet his needs.
  2. SurfCAM does support drill points that you can use to plunge any tool, anywhere, anytime.
  3. Assembled Parts that have been moved after being assembled derive their positioning from the assembly anchor.
  4. Very nice, and from the continent that invented Halloween (Samhain)!
  5. Hi Alfredo, I'm in the process of updating the Getting Started Guide for 10.0, I'll send you the files soon (they are in Adobe Framemaker format so you will need that software to edit them).
  6. See video (it is working in the latest 10.0 build) IS_Match.avi
  7. Ungefähr was sind Sie Burschen, die reden? Free Online translators don't do such a good job
  8. I'm sure we can contact them. Also, I'm sure they would like to hear from real users: http://www.myriadviewer.com/contact.htm
  9. No, the reader doesn't have a Target Camera tool.
  10. IronCAD would operate on a single core except during Visual Load and Rendering.
  11. Right-click the Perspective view and change the Render Settings to Wireframe.
  12. The general modeling commands (boolean included) are not multi-threaded. However, we have put the latest modeling kernel versions in 10.0 and I'm sure ACIS and Parasolid have made some level of performance improvements.
  13. IronCAD can use multiple cores during the new "Visual Load" and while Rendering. Also, if you are running multiple programs at once you will see much better performance using a dual or quad core system.
  14. I'll let you know if I think of a better way. sf.ics
  15. Here's a Boolean approach. I'll leave you with the tedious task for positioning each "cut" tool part around the dome.
  16. Send me your files and I'll be happy to help your process. support@ironcad.com or ftp://ftp.ironcad.com/upload/
  17. Go to Create, Coordinate System, specify/pick a point, then manipulate with TriBall as needed. Stir gently and enjoy ~
  18. If you can get the orientation you want, simple save a Template file at that point. You may also want to create a Local Coord. System in that orientation.
  19. If you are doing Realistic Rendering the CPU will be pegged but RAM is not as involved and it's usage most likely will remain at a fixed level.
  20. Put the .icb file in this folder: \Program Files\IronCAD\9.0\Template\
  21. A Template option is available on the Create BOM or Edit Template dialog box. Selection of the Template option opens the selected BOM template for editing. Once the BOM has been defined, right-click on the table and select Save as Template from the resulting pop-up menu. Enter an appropriate file name and choose OK to save the new template. The next time the Bill of Materials option is selected from the Create menu, the new BOM template will be displayed for selection, along with the default template.
  22. Sounds like we just need a good .ai translator.
  23. We only have Illustrator on a MAC so I can't test this here. Can you run this one by Adobe Support?
