Thanks Tom, I never realized you could mirror and have it stay identical to the orignal. It took me just a minute to realize you right click when you select the mirror line. That is a great tip I didn't know before. Thanks. Brent

Are there any tricks to resize multiple circles in a 2D cross section without selecting each individually? Also after a curve has had all the corners rounded using the fillet tool in a 2D cross section, is there an easy way to resize all the fillets? I usually double click a curve to select the whole thing, and then use the fillet tool to fillet all the corners at once, and would like to be able to resize all of them, without having to do each individually.

I hadn't thought of using the alignment. Duh. That will solve my problem. Is there anyway to get the old functionality back? It is just a few mouse clicks quicker, and less brain work to get right. Thanks, Brent

I am looking to upgrade to a CAD workstation. Does anyone have a recommendation of a workstation they use? I've been looking at HP, Silicone Graphics and the like, but would like some help deciding which others have used and found that work well with IronCAD. I would really like to have dual monitor functionallity, and the horsepower to run both.

In V8 after you make a set of standard views is there any way to add another view to it? In previous versions you could just hit the standard view creation button and then select another view in the dialog and it would be added. In V8 it wants to add another set of standard views. It is useful to be able to add another unassociated set of views, but I often need to add another view to a previous set of views.

Can you change the global defaults for the grid spacing in the 2-D sketch mode? I know you can change it for the scene by checking the "make these the default grid settings" box, but it doesn't change them for all scenes.

I have been using V7 and I haven't installed V8 yet. For those that are already using V8 has the memory management been improved at all? I have had some models that use over a GB of page files, and fill up my 1GB ram. Also save times can be measured in 10s of minutes sometimes, is that improved? I also am curious if dimensions stay attached better in V8 drawings than V7. I have quite often seen dimensions become disassociated especially diameters and radii when I make a simple change to the part and update the drawing.

I'm looking for any tips or tricks on making cable assemblies in electronic enclosures. Does anyone do this? Is there anyway to measure the length of a curve to get cable length or fix the length of a curve to fix the cable length when routing the cable?
