  1. Seems that when you create an unfolded view, you MUST ad the created unfolded...... configuration in your drawing. I created manualy a configuration with a name, and then unsuppressed the unfolded sheet. If I imported this manual created configuration into the drawing, the unfolded sheet is automatically suppressed in the scene, thus giving a problem by disappearing when I updated a drawing. Kelly
  2. I still think that IronCAD was a very good choise, but one thing is ABSOLUTELY ANOYING! I have a product, with Titanium sheet wrapped around it. Very simple. I make an unfold of the sheet metal and create a configuaration for the unfolded Titanium sheet. Now I have 2 configurations: 1) Assembly 2) Sheetlayout. Now, if I create a 2D drawing, I insert the assembly. Perfect. I insert the layout. Great. I can not ad dimensions on the layout. Don't like this. Have to ad the dimensions in the scene but in the layout configuration the unfolded sheet is suppressed. What the..... . Unsuppress it, measure it. Go back to 2D to arrange the dimensions. But where did the layout go? I tried and I tried. I searched even this and the Dutch forum. No satisfying solutions. Is it me? Is it a bug? Should I throw bricks at my computer? HEEEELP!
  3. http://www.omegadrivers.net/ Select your operating system (probably XP) above and you will be guided to the drivers. These drivers are not WHQL certified, but they work. At least for the experienced user this driver is better than ATI's. ANTI ALIASING set to aplication default works. If I set to 4x I get troubles. Kelly
  4. Found it! Changed from ATI Catalyst driver to OMEGA Catalyst driver. Looks OK now. Kelly
  5. Usually I get a picture here..... Wassup?
  6. Recently I got a new system. It's an AMD64 3400+ with an ATIX800 Pro graphics card. So far I have only one small problem: The XYZ-axis left below in the screen looks very funny. Kind of blocky. I tried to set to Automatic OpenGL, but no use. I searched for problems with ATI cards, but couldn't find it. Can anyone help me out? Kind regards, Kelly
  7. And best wishes for 2005 to all of you! Kelly
  8. If I compare the datasheets from Nvidia ATI then the ATI memory interface is "only" 128bit, while NVidia is 256bit ATI bandwidth is only 6,4GB/sec and NVidia is 17.6GB/sec The 3Dperformance is somewhat confusing. ATI speaks of vertices and pixels per sec. while NVidia talks about triangles and texels per second. There is a difference. My guess is that NVidia's PCIexpress is faster than ATI's PCIexpress card. But only a benchmark will tell. This might help a little more: http://www20.graphics.tomshardware.com/gra...gl-pcie-10.html In particular the benchmarks are usefull: http://www20.graphics.tomshardware.com/gra...gl-pcie-14.html
  9. Cant you change the tablecloth? -If the cloth is of uniform colour, you should have more detail of the stripes. You can even experiment with different collors. -If you change the cloth to finer stitch which might also help. The picture would look unnaturally without the reflection of the cloth. I am not sure wether that is acceptable. Kelly
  10. I found this, and it might just be interesting! 5900XT -- > Quadro FX3000 conversion Kelly
  11. Or you could kill the Security Center. It is not as Secure as MS would like you to think of it. Stop the Security Center in Start=>Settings=>Control Panel=>Administrative Tools=>Services and switch to disabled. Most of you have another Firewall, so why go double?
  12. For simple ftp work you can use TotalCommander too. The 2 screens make it possible to drag and drop, and ofcourse it remembers all settings you use for different ftp sites. www.ghisler.com They have a trial version. Just install the product and you have got a fully functional program. For a while..... Kelly
  13. Well done! This way the licensing money is well spend! (kidding) Now, is there a streetversion becoming available? I only have 240 HP, and it is rather slow....... 3000 HP wil be a lot more fun Anyway, I hope they find your luggage. Now enjoy the result and pull out a bottle of champagne Kelly
  14. I have a problem with screen width. I have my screen @ 1024x1280 and at the right hand of this forum I have 50 % white extra. Can you change to automatic pagewidth (or better jyet, can I adjust it at athe controlcentre?)? Kind regards, Kelly
  15. How is your fuel distribution? Is it 1 straight rail then distributed to the cilinders? Subaru Impreza Turbo's have also a known problem with fuel distribution to 1 cilinder. In the Subaru we assume the problem is that when the other three cilinders are supplied with fuel, the pressure drop for cilinder 4 is to high. Therefore it runs lean in some cases. But whatever, as long as you are winning, the material is of lesser importance. Congratulations. Kelly I think, therefore I am............(I think)
  16. Too bad the weather spoiled your fun. It is hard work that washes away. But at least you had a nice hot cup of coffee in special IronCAD cups Better luck next time. When and where is your next track day? Kelly I think, therefore I am............(I think)
  17. Ever see German practice soccer? http://www.xs4all.nl/~osiris7/zooi/VoorbereidingDuitsland.mpg I think, therefore I am............(I think)
  18. Which one is you, Floris? We are on the go! Kelly I think, therefore I am............(I think)
  19. You mean from more than 1 scene? Yes. You can only use 1 standard view, but multiple general views. Every time you load a general view, you can choose an other scene. Kelly I think, therefore I am............(I think)
  20. Right. Couldn't think of that happening before ofcourse I wish you a more succesfull next race. Keep us posted! Kelly
  21. Nice! How can a engine backfire if cylinder heads are not in good shape. Was the cylinder flow affected that bad? Or was compression to high? I have seen some heavy damages on a block, but this is definitely a reward winning destruction! They also had some problems with lean conditions which melted spark plugs and torched the cylinder heads. How do you explain that to the owner of the cylinder heads :-). With "they" I pressume you mean other teams. Why bother explaining then? And in exchange for some parts I would drive with a big IronCAD sticker too on my Impreza GT Turbo
