Guest bbraho
Using ICD drawings, we have some text objects with vertical alignments that I can't figure out how to change. These text objects were probably imported from a DWG. In the picture, A is aligned vertically to the middle, D is aligned to the bottom. (Draw text box is turned on so you can see it.) Can someone help with how to change this alignment? Thanks.
Guest svangeldern
Is there a carriage return before the "D"? I have seen this with DWG imports. Just a thought.
Guest bbraho
No, its one bare letter.
Cary OConnor
Can you attach the drawing so we can look at it? Thanks
Guest bbraho
I've emailed the file to support rather than posting it here. Thanks.
Cary OConnor
I looked at the drawing. If this was imported data, they may have had a setting for the alignment. In the ICD, we don't actually give any controls to the Top, Middle, Bottom alignment in the UI so I don't see a way to correct or change it. I will file this as an ER to offer those options in the Text boxes. Cary

Doug Gower
Just wondering... did you try to copy the "A" over and change it to "D" to see if the alignment stayed?
Guest bbraho
Just wondering... did you try to copy the "A" over and change it to "D" to see if the alignment stayed? 35121[/snapback] The bad alignment is part of the text object. In this case, I did delete the 'D' object, copy the 'A' object, and change it to 'D'. It did resolve this problem. I did the same in other cases also since then. Thanks.
