B. Ludin
I'd like to add some metric fine threads to to Custom Hole tool, e.g M3x0.35, M4x0.35, M4x0.5, etc. How can I do this? If found a file called "CustomHole.txt" but editing edit doesn't seem to change anything. Beat
IronKevin
This appears to be a bug, we'll have to investigate further.
David Thomas
is this still a bug? I have just tried to edit the Customhole.txt file and it does not make any difference. (v2013) We would like to add BSP (Bristish standard Pipe) threads into this functionality.
IronKevin
The new Custom Hole tool in the Feature Ribbon Bar can be used and it allows the thread sizes to be edited in a text file. Please edit CustomHole.txt file in the C:\Program Files\IronCAD\2012\AppData\en-us\CustomHole folder.
David Thomas
hmmm, thats a shame , I find that tool a pain, having to define a 2d section to define the position is fairly cumbersome in comparison to the drag and drop functionality of the Custom hole tool in the catalogue, and then postion with the triball. I think we'll create a catalogue of BSP holes. Thanks
