Steve Eckhardt
I have a STEP file that I manually created, so it probably has some errors. When I try to import it, I get a messagebox saying that STEP import failed, but no details. I have the "Display error messages during import" checkbox checked. Is there a log file for importing or somewhere else I could look to figure out where I messed up? Other than that, does anyone know where I could look on the web for a STEP file error checker? TIA. IronKevin
We don't generate a log file or have any tools to check the file. How are you creating it? Maybe it would help to export a block or some part to a STEP file from IronCAD then compare that to your file.
Cary OConnor
Select the option to import bad entities in the Import Options. Then try to import the file. Run the Statistics after import to find out the bad areas. Cary
