Guest svangeldern
Question: I have an old icd (2004) which has a hole table on it. The table includes column Note1 (selected in the table properties dialog) which has data in it. I've added a few holes to the part (linked to previous holes) and updated the table but the Note1 column is blank for these holes. I can't find where that data is coming from What are the Note1 and Note2 columns in the hole table dialog tied to.... Any ideas? Thanks, Steve
IronKevin
Steve, The notes are added by right-clicking the number labels next to each hole in the drawing view and going to Properties, Notes tab.
Guest svangeldern
Ahhhh! Thanks Kev. Interestingly when I right-clicked on the first number IC gave me an ID error. Specifically, error 10T. Any idea why IC is announcing "ID10T"? (I swear I heard giggling too). Steve
Mike Twining
I am pretty sure that the ID10T error is directly related to a "PEBKAC" issue. I believe google has a little more on that...
Guest svangeldern
Is it just me.... "Radius" column should not be a default on a hole table. Drills are specified by diameter. Metric tapped holes should show a metric tap drill, not a decimal inch value. What is with the "n" (1/2-13UNCn0.423DRILL)? When you select only "Thread Description" the n..stuff..still shows When you also select "Tap/Drill" it just adds the word "Drill" to the n..stuff... I'd like to be able to set the column width like in the BOM. When box selecting holes the order does not follow the scene browser order nor the x or y zero reference. I'm afraid to release a drawing with a hole table to the shop for fear of the quizzical looks and ribbing I'll get from the guys who actually have to make the part.....
