Jeff Myler Posted September 25, 2003 Share Posted September 25, 2003 When creating an extrusion profile I often will only draw half the profile and then mirror the geometry in edit cross section mode. When I'm editing the cross section and mirror a curve it does not mirror the curve correctly. I have been dealing with this 4.0-6.0 so perhaps I am doing something wrong. Any advice? tlehnhaeuser Posted September 25, 2003 Share Posted September 25, 2003 Jeff, if you are trying to create a symetric shape so as that one side of your profile is mimicked or constrained on the other side. You may want to use the Mirror Constraint option. To Do: 1. select desired profile (geometry) 2. select Mirror tool 3. then right click on the mirror line This will give you a symetric constraint for your profile (and handles as well) I think this is what your looking for?
