Observe the water hose, any one else noticed the "bug" when texturing or when using shaders on cylinders and so? Sometimes you just have to tweak the projection settings around to get good results. I know that there have been times I've just given up, or I found a better image that worked. But your rendering brings me to an idea: What say we open a "water stream" thread and see who can get the most realistic shot of a water stream entering a pool...? Cary OConnor Posted August 26, 2008 Share Posted August 26, 2008 UV mapping is based on the kernel information. I found two ways to correct it in your example. Change the part to acis is one. The other is to change the facet smoothness to something like 70 instead of 30 when it is parasolid. Both seemed to correct it at that end.
