joosterdag
Has anyone noticed an increase in the time (double) it takes Ironcad to open from version 5.2 to 6.0? Regards, Jim
Chris Lohman
Can't say that I have. It might depend on how you're launching it. IE: if you're double clicking on a file to launch; then there could be something in the file causing this.
joosterdag
It happens when I open IronCad from it's .exe file.
dsulli
The first time always takes longest, in my experience. Once you've opened and closed IC, subsequent openings are executed much faster.
Chris Lohman
Well when you launch ironcad; it creates the ironcad.tbc file if it doesn't exist. So I wonder if you're not creating the ironcad.tbc so it is trying to re-create it every time. I've never seen this happen but I suppose anything can happen
Mike Twining
Probably not the problem, but with all these Microsoft Hot-Fixes and security updates, EVERYTHING is taking longer for me to open and run. Thanks Bill. MikeT
