Guest rzito
Hi All, I'm always looking at all the opposition CAD systems to see whats new. I came across an article in a trade publication that caught my interest, it boasted about solid edge now using a feature based system rather than a history based modeling system? This sounded like IC to me. I had a look at the website, and was astonished to see the new "synchronous" system complete with what seems to be an obese version of tri-ball. I hope your legal team has a look at this, smacks of patent infringement to me? While I'm here hows the vista version of IC going, I have laptop chomping at the bit to get started. IronKevin
The Vista version is still a work in progress and looks like it will be delayed until V11 later this year.

mmccall
HA.. Catia.. and Wildfire.. they both have some sort of triball.. or rather a graphic of something similar.. neither work as well as the original.. the IC Triball..
cborer
Maybe IC can make a deal: Cartia allowed to use the Triball IC gets some surface and 3d curve tools from Catia. Why not?
