Mike Allen Posted September 4, 2007 Share Posted September 4, 2007 I have a powerbook G4 (at home) & I believe all you need to do is turn on File Vault, which is built into the operating system (I think it's under "security" in System Preferences.) Then every time you shut down, if there is fragmentation (usually after deleting or moving files), it will ask you if you want to reclaim the space.
