Guest ebedding Posted January 29, 2007 Share Posted January 29, 2007 IronCad 9.0 Useful Feature: Sizebox to Bom Guarding Example This feature allows you to automatically output a complete cut list with quantities to a bom directly from the sizebox dimensions. In our case this works great for standard aluminum extrusion machine frames, guarding and the lexan panels. Sometimes only an assembly drawing is all that is required, no details are needed. Copying the model and modifying /stretching it can be used to quickly create a new cut list & assembly. I do have the hotfix loaded on my machine (3ish31.dll 1/5/2007 8:46 AM) in: Program Files\IronCAD\9.0\bin I set up my extrusion off a workplane to force the sizebox dim I am changing to always use the same field.
