smansell Posted January 25, 2007 Share Posted January 25, 2007 Hello All I have a problem with picking up existing models that have several hundred parts. The message that i receive is "Part will be regenerated in order to get mass. Do you want to continue?" I am aware that shapes or stock that have no material but with holes create this problem. (Having a shape with "Mass Density" of 0.0 doesn't seem to create a problem, it still somehow creates a value for mass) a) is this the only problem that can generate this problem is there an easy way of determining the parts that have this issue. IronKevin Posted January 25, 2007 Share Posted January 25, 2007 This is a normal message when saving files from before 9.0 PU1. If you open the file, regenerate the entire assembly, then save, that should be the last time you see those messages fro that assembly.
