hlopes
One problem... My client works with OminiCAD...it imports the archives in *.IGES In Ominicad the archive size is of 30mb and when open in Ironcad it is with 90mb and with defective surfaces and impossible work because is very slow... Which is the best extension of exportation? Thanks a lot!
Cary OConnor
When you import into IronCAD, make sure you try different default kernels (tools/options/parts). Each kernel may import the iges in a different manner which may yeild better results in some cases. Cary
mmccall
each kernel imports and exports differently... affect the import and export files differently.. from color.. to naming convention etc.. parts and assemblies.. IronKevin
Try STEP (.stp), ACIS (.sat) or Parasolid (.x_t), if OmniCAD supports any of those. Those filetypes are typically better quality than IGES.
