Service Patch 1 for IronCAD 5.2 English is out.

Download it here

or by using this: ftp.ironcad.com/products/ironcad/5.2/IC52SP1.exe

NOTE: You must have your innovationsuite 2002 CD in the cd reader for the patch to install.

The list of fixes is too long for a single post so I will be posting them in succession after this.

We recently changed DNS for our ftp server so if ftp.ironcad.com doesn't resolve correctly for you, the IP address is 65.218.189.86

Attention BETA USERS: If you had the SP1 Beta installed, we do not recommend installing SP1 on top of it. The recommend procedure is to remove IronCAD through add/remove programs, then delete the /program files/innovationsuite folder (or where you had it installed to). After this, reboot, install IronCAD, then put the SP1 released version on.

I've had no problems yesterday using

ftp://65.218.189.86/products/ironcad/5.2/IC52SP1.exe

Also, for those, like me, who installed IC5.2 from the download and not the CD, you need to have the installation files in the same directory where you had them during the installation for the SP1 updater to work.

Hope that helps,

Beat
