tlehnhaeuser
Odd, I never needed his before, but when I try to drag a pattern to an assembly it doesn;t work. If I make an assembly of the pattern then drag to other assembly then dis-assemble it it works. Has this always been like this or a bug in V9? thanks Tom
Guest IronKevin
That has always been a limitation. IK
Guest EricFoy
Yes, it is consistent with the requirement to pre-assemble linked instances of parts before adding them to another assembly, since a pattern is simply a predescribed layout of several linked instances of a part. The need to pre-assemble linked instances is a simple consequence of the limitation that IC does not allow to move multiple selections. A pattern, however, can be selected and moved as a single unit.
