hlopes
In IC exists some tool that I can measure pieces, in model 3D?Without using dimensions tools. Something equal to Measure tool in SW? Thanks!
Marcus Bertilsson
Not really a measure tool but it works. Create a 3D-curve of what you want to measure (you can project an edge for example). Then mark the curve and right-click/properties. There under one of the tabs the length is visible. / Marcus
dsulli555357
Sometimes I quickly section the part or assembly in a 2D drawing and check dimensions that way. It is often easier than doing it in 3D, anyway. That measuring tool in SW has a few nice options, but dang, it can be a royal pain as well. Cary OConnor
I know this is not the right solution but you could quickly load the ics into the ModelPress viewer and measure in there. You have some nice tools and quick sectioning in that tool. Cary
Guest EricFoy
Another "wrong solution", which I like a lot: Rhino has some really cool analysis and measurement tools. Export and import only takes a sec.
