Cary OConnor
Either it is a typo or I can't remember how to do it. Cary
Marcus Bertilsson
Yes thats right. And it is for getting vector grafic between programs like Office, Autocad, Microstatiion etc. The benefit of getting it in Office as vectors instead of raster is that it is most of the time smaller, get better printouts etc / Marcus
tlehnhaeuser
Windows Metafile 14662[/snapback] Oh yeah right, I was thinking something else. Now I remember, WMF is a left over from TriSpectives days, its a an old paragrapgh that needs updating.
Marcus Bertilsson
Do you mean that WMF ( or EMF ) is not supported by IC?
Guest pbobgan
We too would love it if IronCAD could export WMF or EMF. Other groups in our company would like to use IronCAD to make 3-D models that could be used in assembly instructions. The assembly instructions are written in MS Word and it would be great if we could use vector-based graghics instead of bitmapped. tlehnhaeuser
I find I get great printouts when I drag the Scene Icon into a Word Document. This also allows illustartors dynamically re-oreient the scene from within Word to meet their needs. Tom
Marcus Bertilsson
For me it is mostly things from drawings with dimensions and annotations that I want to get into Office programs. And in other programs the printout is much better if the imported file is a wmf. / Marcus
Guest Urban Olars
I fully agree with Marcus. Actually, I think I added this as an ER in year 2000 or 2001.
Cary OConnor
Well you can try this....It is only $38 US. Basically you can print as vector to WMF. http://www.globalpdf.com/artprint/document...ipt-to-wmf.html Cary
